About the Founder

My name is Itohan Iyawe Ogiemudia. My experience with water scarcity harmed my education and health. However, while working with an NGO I got an opportunity to learn more about the struggles of rural communities and farmers who are affected by lack of access to water. This became a major concern for me as I was shocked to know that the water problem still exists and it has even gotten worse. This moved me to apply to kanthari where I got the tools to solve this social issue and started this non-profit making organization called, OMITIDE! meaning WATER HAS COME!

You can learn more about my story and our procedure by watching my kanthari talk via this link
