Who we are
OMITIDE is a registered non governmental organization under the Nigerian Corporate Affairs Commission. We are a team of like-minded individuals passionate about ensuring everyone in Nigeria can access clean drinking water through rainwater harvesting. We strongly believe that clean water is essential for good health and well-being. We harvest rainwater for drinking, household, and irrigation purposes intending to recharge groundwater levels. We want to make Nigeria a better place by providing clean water for everyone.
What we do
OMITIDE helps rural communities facing water scarcity in Ondo State Nigeria by using an innovative approach to rainwater harvesting. We introduce reliable and sustainable water collection and storage systems to reduce the reliance on unsustainable sources while promoting conservation practices, all in collaboration with the local communities. Our mission is to provide access to clean, safe, and abundant water for all, creating a brighter future for everyone.
Our Services
OMITIDE provides clean drinking water to communities facing water scarcity. We install water recycling systems, construct wells, and install ponds for irrigation. We focus on groundwater conservation, provide training on the sustainable use and management of resources, develop water management plans, implement sustainable practices, and promote conservation.
What We Have Achieved
We are training 150 farmers on Rainwater Harvesting for drought season Irrigation farming.
On January 30, 2024, 50 farmers were sensitized on rainwater harvesting and groundwater conservation at the Isarun community of Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State in Nigeria.
30 farmers were also sensitized on rainwater harvesting and groundwater conservation at Bolorunduro community of Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State in Nigeria on the 1st of February 2024.
On February 6, 2024, some St Louis Girls Grammar School Akure Students were sensitized to rainwater harvesting and groundwater conservation.

Testimonies
I planted pumpkin seeds in my garden but lost interest as the drought season approached. I started irrigating my pumpkin plant when I started attending the rainwater harvesting for irrigation training. The plant came back to life and I am glad with the harvest.
