The Founder
My name is Itohan Iyawe Ogiemudia. Growing up, my experience with water scarcity harmed my education and health. However, while working with an NGO I got an opportunity to learn more about the struggles of rural communities and farmers who are affected by lack of access to water. This became a major concern for me as I was shocked to know that the water problem still exists and it has even gotten worse. This moved me to apply to kanthari where I got the tools to solve this social issue and started this non-profit making organization called, OMITIDE! meaning WATER HAS COME!

As a practical Project manager, he also doubles as an Entrepreneur in the Agriculture and energy service industry after being inspired to pursue a career in Electrical Power and Machine systems, his passion for solving societal problems through the application of basic science and mathematics remained his core strength.
He is a Christian and married with two children, Dieko and Dayspring.
